STS-B Water Lubricated Stern Tube Seal Introduction
It is mechanical seal device that controls specific pressure of fiction on contact surface by corrugated tube expansion, it is mainly used in boats, especially high-speed boats, and it confirms to GJB2479-95 General code for stern tube seal of boats.
Product Characteristics
Simple structure, small amount of parts.
Heat-resistant and wear-resistant materials for stationary seal ring.
No friction to the propeller shaft and sleeve.
Long service time: due to flexibility of the corrugated tube, specific pressure changes slightly when axial vibration rises.
Be able to operate in water with high silt content.
Technical Parameter
Propeller shaft linear velocity ＜6m/s.
Propeller shaft axial travel ＜8mm, axial play 4mm.
Propeller shaft radial jump: ±3mm.
Low water leakage: below 40L/day, No water drop can be seen in navigation pause, or only a little.
